Exact Sciences employees joined Americans across the country by celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with service projects and volunteer activities in mid-January. Throughout the week, these individuals supported local organizations by contributing their time and needed supplies to local nonprofits.

Highlights of this work includes:

  • Providing groceries for 450 families in Madison, Wis.
  • Writing 54 notes of encouragement for teachers and students at Phoenix Public Schools
  • Donating more than 900 items to support literacy, technology, and nutrition

Taking the time to volunteer is a great way to honor Dr. King’s legacy and make a positive change. Thank you to our amazing team members and organizers for their participation in the week of service.

Efforts benefitted multiple locations across Exact Science locations, building stronger communities and fostering lasting relationships. Special thanks to our community partners including the Boys and Girls Clubs in Baltimore, Boston, Redwood City, Calif., Salt Lake City, and San Diego, as well as Goodman Community Center in Madison, Wis.

We look forward to many more MLK Day projects in the years to come!
