Breast Recurrence Score®

For patients with early-stage (I, II, or IIIa), hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative breast cancer that is either node-negative or node-positive (1-3 nodes)

Select the ordering provider by first choosing their health care office. Once you’ve placed an order, we’ll show your recently used providers for quicker selection.

Step 5

Choose additional report recipients
Results are automatically sent to the ordering provider, submitting pathologist, and delegates (if applicable).
Optionally choose up to five additional people who’ll receive a report.

Step 6

Enter test-specific clinical information
For the Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score® test we request the following:
  • Nodal status
  • Estrogen receptor status
  • Progesterone receptor status
  • HER2 status
  • Invasive tumor size
  • ICD-10 codes

Choose specimen retrieval method
Exact Sciences retrieval
With this option, we will put in a request for the specimen from a pathology department of your choosing.
Provider retrieval
With this option, you will put in a request for the specimen from a pathology department. We have additional resources, like a fax cover sheet, to aid that process.

Step 8

Insurance verification
This step includes signing forms or reviewing any insurance policies we’ve discovered for your patient.

Step 9

Review and submit
Take one last look and make any necessary edits before submitting your order. You’ll see an order confirmation email after you’re done submitting.

Step 10

Prepare for next steps
After you’ve submitted your order, you’ll see options to print full order details or an optional fax cover sheet to prepare for specimen retrieval.
We’ll keep you updated on your order’s progress through email. You can also check your in-progress orders in the “Orders” tab in your account.

Breast DCIS Score®

For newly diagnosed patients with anatomic stage II, T3 or T4, MMR-P, or stage III A/B colon cancer who have undergone surgical resection and have not started chemo or other treatment

With this option, Exact Sciences will ship a saliva or buccal kit directly to your patient with instructions on how to collect their sample and return it to us.
